(559) 674-5695 The City Council also acts as the Board for the Madera Housing Authority. The Housing Authority has an annual budget of $10.3 million. It maintains and leases 388 assisted housing units within the City's corporate limits. The Authority has been allocated a total of 573 certificates and vouchers under the Section 8 Program for public housing. The Housing Rehabilitation Division is assigned to the Housing Authority, and the Assistant City Administrator administers the CDBG Program for the City.
