A message from the Madera City Council
The City of Madera Anti-Graffiti Program was formed in 2008 by the Madera City Council to create a comprehensive plan that reduces and prevents graffiti through a coordinated community-wide effort. Abatement, community involvement, education and enforcement are the foundation of the program. Community involvement is the key element for a successful anti-graffiti program.
The City Council has made a personal commitment to make a difference in graffiti abatement citywide. The Redevelopment Agency provides six graffiti abatement workers and the City Council appointed a community involvement staff. In addition, the City of Madera Anti-Graffiti Program has joined forces with the District Attorneys Office and the Madera Police Department to strengthen the prosecution process for individuals arrested for graffiti vandalism.
The Cit of Madera Anti-Graffiti Program cannot succeed without community involvement. Please join us to help combat graffiti vandalism by becoming a volunteer.
