Brett Frazier Mayor Brett Frazier Brett Frazier is currently serving his first term in office as a Council Member. Council Members serve four year terms. Brett was elected to the City Council in November of 2010. The Mayor’s position is rotated annually amongst the Council Members. Brett is currently serving as Mayor and will serve as Mayor through 2012. Council Members also serve as Board Members of the Madera Redevelopment Agency and Commissioners of the Housing Authority of the City of Madera. Brett is currently the Chairperson for the two agencies. Brett is a native Maderan. He attended Madera schools and in 2002, he earned his Bachelor of Arts degree in Sociology from the University of California Santa Barbara. Brett has owned and operated Papa Murphy’s Pizza since 2005. His prior work history includes commercial real estate with Marcus & Millichap and insurance sales with State Farm Insurance. Brett is married to Caitlin Frazier. They have two children, son Wyatt, and daughter Hallie. In addition to their regular duties as members of the City Council, the Redevelopment Agency, and the Housing Authority, Council Members are appointed to serve on other boards as representatives of the City Council. They are also active in community organizations.
