Sally Bomprezzi is currently serving her second term in office as a Council Member. Council Members serve four year terms. Sally was first elected to the City Council in 2006 and reelected in 2010. The Mayor’s position is rotated annually amongst the Council Members. Sally previously served as Mayor in 2008.
Council Members also serve as Board Members of the Madera Redevelopment Agency and Commissioners of the Housing Authority of the City of Madera.
Sally holds a Bachelor of Arts (BA) Degree in Management and Organizational Development from Fresno Pacific University; a Master of Business Administration (MBA) in Accounting and Financial Management from DeVry University; and a Graduate Certificate in Financial Analysis from DeVry University.
Sally is currently working as the Business Administrator/Personnel Manager for St. Joachim's Catholic Church. Her prior employment history involved working for various financial institutions in different capacities.

Sally has been a resident of Madera since 1958. She is married to Jim Bomprezzi. They have two children, Angela and Anthony, and two grandchildren Taylor and Olivia.
In addition to their regular duties as members of the City Council, the Redevelopment Agency, and the Housing Authority, Council Members are appointed to serve on other boards as representatives of the City Council. They are also active in community organizations.
