The board consists of seven members appointed from a cross section of the community (general public, children, elderly, disabled, students, social service agencies, and minority family). Terms shall be for two years or less. Appointments are made by City Council Members. Meetings are held quarterly in January, April, July, and September at a time and public place set by the advisory board.
Responsibilities Include: Recommend to the City Council a five (5) year transit and equipment plan; review, modify transit system proposals.
